Captivating, cute, and intelligent; this is how you know Audrey Hepburn. She reached great heights with these three unique attributes. The person who had discovered this beauty was none other than William Wyler. Though she had acted in various movies before this but her performance in William’s movie “Roman Holiday” made her a big star.

This amazing actress was born on 4May in the year 1929. Her hometown was Brussels in Belgium. She was financially very sound. She shifted to London with her mother and continued with her studies there. Her studies came to a halt when World War 2 happened.

Her total count of Hollywood movies are almost 20.Some of her memorable movies include:Roman Holiday , Sabrina , Bloodline , The Nun’s story etc.,.

Sabrina. It was filmed a year after Roman holiday. Audrey Hepburn played Sabrina who is the daughter of a wealthy family’s chauffeur. Sabrina worked hard to win the heart of David, the son of his father’s chief. Linus, David’s brother did everything to destroy their relationship because David is about to marry the daughter of their business partner. At the end the movie, it was Linus who discovered his feelings for Sabrina and they both moved to Paris. Audrey was nominated for her portrayal in this movie.

Love in the Afternoon. This is another American romantic comedy filmed in 1957. Audrey played the role of a cello student with a detective father. She became interested to one of her father’s subjects and eventually drawn to that man. The story ended on a train scene where she fell into his leading man’s arms. Audrey Hepburn received another nomination for Best Actress award from Golden Globe with this movie.

Love in the afternoon. The comedy and romantic flick was an American movie and released in the year 1957. Audrey’s father who acted as a detective was after his target when Audrey , her daughter in the movie felt attracted towards this man. The last scene of the movie where Audrey falls into her man’s arms was a good way to end the movie. Audrey Hepburn was nominated for Golden Globe Award for best actress.

The Nun’s Story. This is another movie where she won BAFTA’s Best Actress award. The Nun’s Story was a 1959 film which narrates the story of a woman who decided to enter the convent and live a life full of sacrifices. This is a movie based from the 1956 novel in the same title.

These are just few of Audrey Hepburn’s films. Audrey lost her life in 1992. She was voted to be the “most beautiful woman of all times” by Evian. In 2000, Jennifer Love Hewitt co-produced her self-titled movie for television “The Audrey Hepburn Story.
