The piano chords are some of the most interesting things to learn on the piano. For all intent and purposes, a expert piano instructor will stress the significance of playing the piano by ear, sheet music and music theory. The piano artist who wishes to learn the more current tunes, such as rock, pop or other less traditional tunes, they will benefit the most, from beginning with the fundamentals.

Ever watch a concert where a piano is part of the group? You may have pondered over how to play piano just like they do. Where did they learn? How did they master the keys?

Songs played on the piano from groups like the Beatles, Animals, Pink Floyd, Radiohead, Red Hot Chile Peppers are less difficult to grasp and retain when the piano artist understands classic piano chords. Even some of the best guitar players learned how to play by ear by playing chords. They are easier to remember and your hands have a way of remembering. It is like your hands will start to have a mind of their own, they don’t forget.

You might compare practicing and playing piano to speed typing. All an individual needs to do is place their hands on a keyboard and they’re typing over 200 words a minute. Now you may not be that fast, but speed is not the issue, it is remembering the keys without thinking. You let your hands lead you.

So what are Piano Chords?

You see that the Major chords are linked to the letters of the alphabet. Let us focus on the F, G, Bb, C. Remembering how to play the major chords is as easy as learning to skip over the notes that should not be played. If you find yourself playing the C chord, you may skip playing D and F. For the chord of G, you will concentrate on playing the notes of G, B, and D. You won’t use the keys of A or C play A and C.

Now as you could already understand there are keys that are white and black on the piano. With the white keys there are 3 major chords that may be played: C, G, and F. Yet for the sound or song to sound just right , you will need to add in some black keys. One example you can play a D chord by using D, F, A.

By touching the keys in the right order, you can easily learn to understand the easier piano songs. After you master the basics, it just a matter of time till you start to grasp the more advanced music. As they say practice makes perfect.

Practice is probably the best way to learn piano.. Perhaps the best way to start learning the piano is putting to memory the piano chords.
