Hen Nights or a bridal shower is planned to observe the awaiting marriage of a lady. As the name tells us, the people of the party are all feminine, but occasionally males can be present as well to act as entertainers.

Hen party is also known as hen do, bachelorette party and hen night, but in the UK, it is normally known as hen night or hen party. It is a party arranged especially for a woman who is getting married. The word “hen party” is originated from henna, which is normally used as a tradition in most parts of Asia, Middle East and Africa. It is believed that Henna helps in purifying the bride and keeps her safe from any evils.

One of the best cities in the United Kingdom for celebrating a hen night is London; London proffers everything that may aid you to get the most excellent hen night. Larger and superior, London is one of the biggest cities of the United Kingdom, providing the best of times as well as an amazing night time.

It can be arranged in a private venue, at the house of the bride or any outside location like restaurant or public venue. Dinner, cocktails, drinks and sweets are usually served at these parties. The female friends and close relatives give advices and suggestions to the bride-to-be. Some people like to arrange hen nights at a picnic spot or holiday destinations and create different themes for the occasion.

Another tradition of the UK hen night is to bring silly and obscene gifts for the bride to make her blush, while saving the real one for the wedding day. Certain themes are an ongoing element of a vibrant hen night in the UK. Such themes revolve around wearing some funny and silly outfits to give the night maximum height of fun.

On the other hand, if you reserve the container, you can take pleasure in the most stunning splendour of this big city, for at least forty five minutes. Ladies at the hen night will take pleasure in the great sparkling wine and banquet packages to increase the fun.

Despite celebrating a crazy hen night, sometimes the bride and the hens get down to a nominated house, where they can go for some facials of homemade stuff, including manicure and pedicure kits, along a one-dish party, which includes like pink champagne, pink biscuits and pasta with a pink cream etc.

One particular tradition of hen night is to hire a limo, loaded with a T.V and stereo and go to a bar with lots of seats. Likewise, the tradition of party buses is gaining momentum for an exciting hen night, as these buses make them visit different clubs and bars with an onboard entertainment. Drinking is a very common tradition of Hen Night in the UK. Drinking games are quite frequent on such nights to make the people have fun and to enable the new ones to know each other. A hilarious sexual joke also constitutes a major part of such night gatherings.
