Add Humor To Your Finances With Flintstones Checks

By Alan Plastin

Do you love the Flintstones? When you were younger did you watch Fred, Wilma, Barney and Company on a regular basis? If you’re a fan of the modern Stone Age family, then you might be attracted to the Flintstones bank checks. Aside from being beautifully drawn and being able to denote the heart of the nostalgic cartoon, they’re also an enjoyable way to bring life your finances.

While the Flintstones animated series were only on the air from 1960 to 1966, they are still incredibly popular in our day. Actually, a huge percentage of the fans these days were not even around when the series initially ran!

The Flintstones concentrated on Fred and Wilma Flintstone and their best friends and neighbors, Betty and Barney Rubble. Both working class families, they went through a lot of the same problems together. The men, especially, were well-known for finding themselves in predicaments while their tolerant wives frequently had to stand back and shake their heads.

Created by Hanna-Barbera Productions, the Flintstones dealt with a lot of contemporary issues and problems, but portrayed them in a Stone Age situation. The show was very comparable to the very popular show “The Honeymooners.”

Unlike a lot of other cartoons, “The Flintstones” not only used a laugh-track to make it more like a sitcom, but it often broke the invisible fourth wall that is common in television productions. For instance, if a character took a photograph then the viewing audience might be able to see the bird inside, constructing the photo, who might smile and say, “Well, it’s a living.”

“The Flintstones” were also the first primetime animated television series to last for more than 2 seasons. In fact, this record wasn’t broken until “The Simpsons” broke it in 1992. In addition, some people claim that Fred and Wilma were the first television couple to share a bed, although this has been widely debated.

If you love “The Flintstones” then you are sure to love the official checks. They contain 4 rotating images of the Flintstones and the Rubbles and fans will be pleased to see the appearance of Pebbles, Dino, and the family car as well. The checks are bright and colorful and will be sure to liven up your check book.

Additionally, you can also buy matching address labels to go along with your new checks, as well as a corresponding checkbook cover, too.
