It is essential for people to carry out joke explanation when they feel that they have said something that has not been understood by the targeted audiences. Some statements are very important though they are said in a lighter way. These statements have to be explained in order to achieve the intended goal.

Jokes are meant to amuse people since they are carried often carried out in a humorous way. Such statements can be uttered to a number of people in a comic way but some people may not understand the meaning of the statement. In such a situation, a speaker can elaborate his statement in a clear manner so as to ensure that the people have understood what he has been trying to say.

Politicians, preachers and other people addressing big gatherings often use jokes to entertain their listeners while delivering their speeches. Long winding speeches are boring in some instances and this is the reason why the jokes are used as a strategy to amuse people in order to captivate their interests. If comic language is not used in a speech, people often fail to understand the message being communicated.

Jokes can also be used to illustrate a very important point especially in a learning situation. Educators for instance use humorous language to stimulate the interests of the listeners so that they can concentrate in what they are saying. It is important for them to explain the hidden meaning of what they would be trying to say to the learners.

Jokes are often told in colloquial language which may not be very easy to understand. Some people can easily find them very interesting while others may face difficulties in trying to denote meaning from these statements. There are different structures of language of which some of them are complicated to understand. This problem can be solved through simplified explanations which can be given by other people who have grasped the meaning of the jokes.

When addressing people, it can be seen that their interests are drawn by the use of language that is full of humor. Not all individuals are capable of grasping the context of the statements made since their level of understanding differs. These statements need to be explained if they are not clearly understood by people.

Jokes are also intended to teach children different things as they grow up. Through amusing stories, children tend to grasp important lessons that can help them to develop various life skills as they grow up. For instance, a lot of folktales are comprised of jokes and they are narrated in a humorous way to the kids. They quickly grasp the meaning if the tale is explained to them.

There are different ways of communicating with other people. Some speakers prefer to use comic language which is fun and interesting to different listeners. In most cases, joke explanation is essential in order to ensure that the targeted audiences have fully understood what has been said by the speaker.
