Since the introduction of animation into the cinema, Disney Pictures has arguably produced best films in the genre. Their top films can be considered as the best animated cinema films overall, with some classic titles that made history. We have assembled some of their best films for you to take a look if you haven’t seen them:

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Snow White is a classic Disney film that made its debut in 1937. It was the first full length animated feature film to be produced by Disney film, for being culturally, historically, and aesthetically significant, it has been added to the United States Film registry. To this day, it remains the ninth highest grossing Disney picture, which is an achievement considering other films with modern productions. The Jungle Book This is Walt Disney’s last film that he got involved with the production. The Jungle Book is a classic book authored by Rudyard Kipling where the movie was based. A string of Disney songs was featured in the film that became well-liked and is one of the most famous films in the Disney collection.

Fantasia (1990 re-issue) This movie features a lot of popular Disney characters that includes Mickey Mouse . It has a classic soundtrack and was reissued in 1990 where a digital sound was applied, at any rate. During the academy awards it won awards for its amazing soundtrack, and has been safeguarded in the United States film registry for its value.

Beauty and the Beast A landmark film for Disney in 1991. The movie has great animation and broad-way like musical, and a strong supporting cast which ultimately appeals to all ages, a Disney film like no other. Aside from being one of the classic Disney films, it is also considered as one the best films of its decade. This is the first animation to be nominated for best picture at the academy awards.

Aladdin After Beauty and the Beast Aladdin followed and became another great film. It put all the genres of a movie into one, it has action, romance and comedy with a scene stealer genie. It is one of Disney’s highest grossing animated films overall and undoubtedly one of their best.

The Lion King This film is notable for its excellent animation work that made its way in theater in 1994. Backed by a great soundtrack and with an epic story; it is one of Disney’s best films.

Toy Story Toy Story was the first 3D CGI Disney film to venture away from the standard 2D animation that they usually employ. It was a tech marvel in 1995, and a finely crafted film to boot.

Finding Nemo (2003) Finding Nemo was created after the success of Toy Story as 3D CGI. However, Finding Nemo exceeded Toy Story as Disney’s biggest hit to date. The cute characters made a good market with children and adults smashing box office records.
