Watch Free Get Him To The Greek Online

By Alice Bender

Get him to the Greek is a funny comedy entertainer that hit the screens on June 4, 2010. The initial reactions to the film from the movie lovers in general and fans of Russell Brand and Jonah Hill in particular are very impressive and makes this movie a “must watch one” for any serious lover of comedy films. There seems to be some unusual chemistry between the two stars that makes them bring their best in combination. Added to this is the fact that Nicholas Stoller, who directed the super-hit comedy, “Forgetting Sarah Marshall”, in 2008, has written and directed this comedy entertainer.

The cast for this hilarious comedy film include Jonah Hill and Russell Brand, the two stars who worked with director Nicholas Stoller in his previous film, “Forgetting Sarah Marshall”, released in 2008. Interestingly, the film, Get Him to the Greek, is a sequel of the film Forgetting Sarah Marshall, where Russell Brand reprises his character in the 2008 film. However, the role of Jonah Hill in this film is an entirely different one than the one he did in the 2008 film.

The film has something for everybody who loves watching comedy movies. Judd Apatow did not disappoint the viewers with his focus on unusual moments, humor and sex drugs, some serious moments and the unusual of depicting film trappings. A rock-and-roll film from Apatow’s stable with comedy making a big difference is worth watching, to say the least. In essence, the film is about the rock star, Aldous Snow, who, unfortunately ruined his own life and is attempting to revive his career once again. Russell Brand, playing the role of Aldous Snow in the move, was at his best, to say the least.

Aaron Green suggests the idea of playing Aldous Snow at the Greek Theatre for the 10th performance and the plot involves the attempt of holding the show. How Aldous Snow was contacted, transported to Los Angeles and the comical events that unfold in the process is what the movie is all about in the movie. Among the bunch of comedy movies which have not been a great success of late in the movie industry, this comedy entertainer stands out and is worth a watch for one time in your nearby favorite cinema hall.

Russell Brand has sizzled in his character as Aldous Snow, the rock star who fell from grace and took to drugs and drinking. The timing sense and the dead humor of this star at the movie is quite interesting to watch. The movie, having a budget of $40 million, has collected gross revenue of $17.2 million, and is expected to keep the producer happy, at the end. Llye Workman has done a neat work as Music Director, while cinematography has been handled by Robert D Yeoman. A total comedy entertainment that is worth watching in the theater for once, this movie is produced by Judd Apatow.
