Encase you haven’t heard, there is a difference in drivers education institutions. For the most part, regular ones will just teach you how to pass the drivers exam and obtain a permit. It’s very appealing, because we just want to get on with it and give us the legal document that we require to go where we want when we want. However, driving can be very dangerous if one isn’t taught properly and doesn’t know how to react.
Sometimes, new drivers are up nervous and “too careful” on the roads. This can lead to all kinds of collisions and mishaps occurring. However, when the driver is taught how to relax yet be alert at the same time, they increase their chances of becoming superior drivers.
Remember, as a parent, the way you drive and the way you react when you have the wheel will play a big role in how your teenager will act and react. But, you can also help by providing advice and good coaching because of the experience you have under your belt as a driver.
Driving institutions focused on the rules. But there is more than just the rules. It’s about changing lanes properly and safely, keeping an eye on blind spots and using all the mirrors to stay safe and avoid a collision.
Good lessons will teach the students to avoid driving too close to those before them. Anyone knows that this is one of the most dangerous things that could lead to fender benders or even worse.
The difference between drivers ed courses are many. Most strive to just teach the student to pass with the minimal experience required to obtain this permit. Others will stress the importance of safety and defensive driving skills as well. These are the ones that should be sought after and have your teenagers teach them. It is these skills that can save lives and money down the line.
One such institution that strives for more is called Swerve. They even have statistics that prove that their students had superior driving skills with less collision, moving violations, and suspension rates. Because they believe in what they do, they even offer a guarantee on their courses that your teenager will remain collision free for a year. They are constantly updating their curriculum to give top-notch training to everyone who attends.
Their key motive is to teach students to avoid ever been in a collision. They do so with their strategic defensive skills. Additionally, they implore the parents to become good coaches by giving them the tips and tools they need.
So, if you have a teenager who is approaching driving age, it is imperative that you look for the best driving schools around that can teach skills which aren’t readily available to other competitive schools. If you have always thought that all of them are one and the same and they all teach the same tactics and strategies, obviously this isn’t the case.
