Dodge Comes Out With 100th Anniversary Merchandise

By Robert Brown

To celebrate 100 years of Dodge brand’s heritage, logos, advertising, imagery, innovation and performance, the company has recently released a new collection of iconic merchandise. The merchandise features a broad range of products like retro designs as well as custom and vintage Dodge graphics and a commemorative centennial anniversary logo, which solidify the brand’s message.

The Dodge 100th anniversary collection has everything from decals, key fobs, mugs, tumblers, pens to journals. The collection is also inspired by the release of the new 100th Anniversary Special Edition Charger and Challenger vehicles, that contains over 30 new items, with even more items eventually becoming available for sale later on this year, that expresses the uniqueness, heritage and performance that ranges from men and women’s clothing, hats and accessories (featuring a commemorative leather jacket and a stainless steel watch available this year) and all merchandise is now on sale at Dodge Life.

Available for pre-order on Amazon.com, the Dodge Motor Company history book offered in the centennial anniversary collection is especially a great item for loyal enthusiasts to own. It offers rich, chronicled accounts of the motor company’s earlier years as well as its presence, growth and expansion in today’s automobile market.

The Dodge Motor Car Company often brings back nostalgia to many of its die-hard consumers. The auto giant’s remarkable history covers 100 years of automobile innovation that all started with two brothers, John F. and Horace E. Dodge who were born in Niles, Michigan to a local machinist. The two later migrated to Detroit and spent a brief time making transmissions for American auto pioneer, Ransom E. Olds at the start of the 1900s. The brothers built the first all-steel automobile in 1914 that became an overnight success and a major rival to Ford. By the time the brothers died in 1920, they had mass produced 140,000 automobiles per year with a work staff of 22,000 people. In 1928, the Dodge Brothers Company ceased to be an independent firm and became a major automobile division of the, up and coming, Chrysler Corporation.

For the most part, Dodge’s postwar cars have remained unchanged from prewar cars.

To this day, Dodge remains an iconic manufacturer of American automobiles and has created many classy and convenient top of the line vehicles in the car industry. Since practical capability, efficient fuel use and car size all provide great perks to enhance the car-buying experience for the average American, Dodge’s line of pickups, are automatically associated with rugged terrains and long-lasting durability (particularly the Dodge Ram series) continues to be one of the five most top-selling cars in modern America!
