Beauty Tips For Asian Skin Tones

By Blanca Ciotoiu

Asian skin tones are unlike any other ethnic groups. If you belong to one of these nationalities Indian, Filipinos, Korean, Chinese or Japanese your skin will have fewer pores and yellow undertones. Asian skin is sensitive and hence more prone to irritation and other skin conditions such as hyper pigmentation, freckles and age spots.

Taking their skin care program seriously is very important for Asian skin to avoid or prevent the skin diseases that can affect this skin tone. Don’t be tempted to skip some steps.

To really deal with Asian skin tones, you need to make sure that is well maintained. It is important that you add exfoliation to your skin care regime. You must take the necessary steps, to avoid your skin breaking out often and becoming dull or blotchy as this often happens with Asian skin tones when
is not well care for.

Given the fact that Asian skin tones have fewer but larger pores you need to be careful not to layer on too much product, dirt, or oil. Typical cosmetic products have different preservatives and fragrances that can be quite irritating to your skin. These products may be fine on your Caucasian friends, but
your skin is more sensitive and you must take that into account.

Other characteristic of Asian skin tones is that brown spots will appear earlier than in other skin colours and it will also get darker with time. Is not all bad news as Asian skin will show later the signs of aging skin such as fine lines and wrinkles.

Because of this you need to be sure that you take care of your skin properly. One of the most important things that you need to do if you are of Asiatic origin is to thoroughly clean your skin on a daily basis. This cleaning regiment needs to incorporate exfoliations as well, but you want to be sure that you do not use a cleansing product that is made with heavy fragrances or oils. Instead, you want something light and pure to help you properly cleanse your skin.

When the skin is well hydrated it looks supple and wrinkles are less obvious that is why moisturizing is another essential step to add to your daily skin care routine. Choose a light moisturizer and keep oils to a minimum especially is your skin is oily. Due to the high temperatures of most Asiatic countries in summer the oil secretion in the skin is greater, that is why Asian complexion looks better in the cooler months.

Wearing sunscreen when out and about is really important as this will ensure that your Asian skin is protected at all times. Sunscreen is an essential protection against fine lines and wrinkles, sun spots, uneven skin tone, freckles and so on. If you make the effort of maintaining your skin tone you will end up with the skin you have always dreamed of.
