Imagine your friends are off on a vacation to the Caribbean or Brazil or some such exciting place, where the prospect of being in water, swimming and spending hours on the beach looms large. Sounds fun eh? But not if you have Cellulite. You would have to say no to your friends.
Cellulite are fat deposits under the skin that make it look raised and dimpled. It is not something that you would want to flaunt. Much of the fat accumulates in areas of the body that are already fatty like the arms, the stomach, buttocks and the thighs. They cannot be massaged away. Hiding them is the only option.
Not unless you undergo some cellulite treatment. Cellulite do not just go away by working out. While a combination of healthy diet and exercise regimen can keep them, away, you can not get rid of those which are already there. What you need is combination therapy.
Surgical removal of cellulite is one cellulite treatment. It helps to get rid of the fat right away. But these treatment options are expensive and the recovery time from surgery should also be taken into consideration. There are also chances, albeit small ones, of complications.
Common cellulite treatments include anti cellulite creams. They are popularly used as they are inexpensive and easily available. But they take a while to show results. Most of them use a formulation of caffeine and retinol to achieve the effect.
Caffeine improves the blood circulation in areas nearby the cellulite. When there is more blood flowing, the body can quickly reabsorb all the fat. This reduces the raised appearance of the cellulite. This process however does not happen over night. It takes more than weeks.
Retinol is a form of Vitamin A that helps the skin stay firm and toned. It is the main ingredient of many anti aging creams. After the removal of cellulite, the skin which was earlier stretched sags. This can lead to wrinkling of the skin. Retinol nourishes the skin and helps it regain its original texture.
Cellulite are an embarrassment but they can be gotten rid of. A combination therapy is your best chance.
