A Bra To Convert Your Wardrobe

Fashion is a wonderful thing, but it really does not fit well into our daily lives. When you are hustling the kids off to school, your outfit is the least of your worries. The same goes for bras, with the exception of those special evenings.

As you well know, a particular look is attributable to a special occasion. The dress you wear to a ball is entire different than the one you wear to funeral. Obviously, this is an extreme example, but emphasizes the point that there is a bra for every occasion.

So, just what are the best bras for particular occasions? Should you wear a demi bra with that little black dress or go with a minimizer or some other bra? Well, the answers vary by just about every occasion.

You probably have some ideas from images of models you have seen. A quick word of caution when considering such images. Models are shooting for a moment in time. They add tape to the bras to get a look. View the images with a grain of salt.

Ironically, there is one bra that is so great that it can be used for most special occasions. You can wear it with strapless dresses, dresses with only one over the shoulder strap and, well, just about anything. That bra is the convertible bra.

Unlike a convertible car, this bra does not come down per se. Instead, the straps that go over your shoulder are not only adjustable like a normal bra, but can be unclipped. This means you can reconfigure them to just about any style.

The key to the convertible bra is to remember that the support should come from the band around the bottom. The shoulder straps should only provide occasional cup support. Your breasts should be pushed up, not pulled up.

How cool is this bra? Assume you are going to a formal event and have a dress with one shoulder strap. With the convertible bra, you can remove one strap to match the dress layout and still get some stability.

This bra will even save you money. Assume you want to wear a strapless dress. You need a strapless bra, right? Nope. You can just remove both straps from the convertible bra. Remember, support comes from the bottom, not the top.

It might sound like this bra is the ultimate answer and can be worn in every possible situation. Unfortunately, that is not the case. It does not cut the muster if you are playing sports or have a plunging back on a dress, but that is about it.
