Do you consider yourself to be a creative person? If you answered in the affirmative, then you would enjoy the fun you’ll spend making bead bracelets. Making bead bracelets are fun and easy even if you not once made bead bracelets before in your life. However persons who have already had the joy of making bead bracelets before can tell you that, while making a simple, fun one is easy, making the stunning, funky bracelet that everybody wants isn’t as simple as it looks.

However, before you can create bead bracelets, you should know the variety of bead bracelets that are out there There are beaded bangles, multi strand, wire wrapped, and a bunch of other kinds of bracelets, to name a couple. If you don’t know them, Google for images. Once you have an understanding as to what kind of beaded bracelet you want to make then you can begin to gather the supplies for it.

Obviously, you’re definitely going to need beads to make a bead bracelet. If you haven’t figured that out, you’re in the wrong place. You also need to have beading threads, bead tips, jewelry clasps, scissors, glue, pliers, measuring tape, and long straight pins. Once you collect the supplies, let’s have some fun and make some beautiful bracelets!

To start off with you should bust out the measuring tape to measure your waist or ankle to establish how much beading thread you’re going to need. Figure out the appropriate length, cut it with some scissors and start choosing the beads you want to place on your bracelet. At one end of the thread, place the jewelry clasp and figure out two bead tips to secure the two ends. Now choose which beads you’re going to use so later on you can just slide the beads in without any problems.

You’re almost done! Select one end to knot so the beads don’t fall out that side. Pull the knotted thread all the way until it rests on the bead tip. Put a small amount of glue on the knotted thread. After it dries, use a flat nose pliers to close up the bead tip. On the unknotted side, start sliding the beads you like onto your bracelet. Tie together the other end and use a long straight pin to move the knot down onto the bead tip. After doing all that, fasten the clasp on the other side. Making use of the pliers again, close the clasps on both sides. Now take a minute to examine your handiwork; you’ve just made your first bead bracelet!
