Limited Edition Shoes

By Liz Cole

I am not sure that you have noticed but the person sitting next to you right now might be wearing limited edition shoes. That is right, more people these days are wearing them and I am going to explain why.

So why have limited edition shoes become more popular? I think there are a number of reasons for it. It seems that people have an interest in anything ‘limited edition’. Something that is perceived as scarce has an increased value. That thought is ingrained in us so we want it.

As well as the value, humans have to conflicting emotions that they want to satisfy. They want to feel special and they want to belong. This is what limited edition shoes offer them. They know that they are one of the special few but they aren’t out there on their own, there are also a restricted number of other people too.

So now we know why people buy them, what types of people actually part with their hard-earned money to buy these shoes. I bet you are thinking about that colleague at work that is always shopping! The answer is…it depends.

Firstly you have the person that wants to be at the forefront of fashion. These people tend to want to do that for two reasons. They either want to do it just for themselves or they want to do it to impress others.

Then you have the other extreme, a customer that is not rushed and will not make extravagant purchases on a whim. They will only make a few big purchases a year so when they do buy, they buy quality items that will last for years to come.

Whatever your motives for buying limited edition shoes, I hope that you enjoy them. Even if you never wear them and only buy them as an investment, make sure that you display them.

As you have seen, there are so many reasons to choose limited edition shoes. Before you buy ensure that you go to Liz’s blog where you can get all the recent limited edition shoes news and trends.
