By Wallace Brigs

Can you remember just how many occasions your inner brain has felt so very sluggish that you simply couldn’t even seem to think clearly? Are there times that can you think of when you have felt so exhausted you couldn’t climb stairs? How about the occasions you felt unattractive even when you had your best outfit on? So maybe you’ve tried almost each and every trick to remain fit and have searched each and every shelf within the beauty and wellness aisles for the wonder items to assist revive you with no luck. How about searching around your home or within the produce department at the grocery store? So, just what within the world am I speaking about? I am speaking of detox.

Detoxification doesn’t mean you sweat buckets in the gym or starve yourself with a total water diet. This is really a holistic approach to beauty and health. It beats all diets, fitness routines, and your overall sense of well being. Just try it one weekend and begin the next week feeling revived and renewed. You can detoxify your way to beauty and health and do this in the convenience of your home. You will need aromatic oils, herbal teas, brush or loofah and a weekend all to yourself.

Begin this process on Friday by consuming a light diet such as fruit or salad and drink a lot of water the entire day. In the evening, give yourself a dry massage with the brush or loofah in long and slow strokes. Move in only one direction, up and towards the groin area. Next, refresh yourself with a cup of tea and a bath of warm water with a few drops of aromatic bathing oil. Light a few scented candles while you slowly add some cooler water within 30 minutes when your bath water gets a little colder. The is the start of your new routine. This will stimulate your blood vessels. Next, dry off and dress nice and warm for bed.

The next day, start of by drinking lemon water which is heated. Take a walk and breath in deeply. Ask your partner for a nice massage if possible. Once again, end the detox process with a slow dry massage and another bath. Spend the Sunday doing the entire process but add in one other activity. Make a complete list of things or people like work that make you feel toxic. Think about how you should handle each of these to lessen the effects. When you are through, pamper yourself with a little meditation.

Keep in mind that you may have some sweating, headaches or skin rash. These are only signs your body is getting rid of toxins and this is only temporary. Detoxifying is very safe and effective and is cheap enough to be done each week. Be sure you don’t do this when you are on your period, sick or pregnant. If you do encounter any problems when you are detoxifying, talk to your doctor.
