Most people rely on commercially sold wrinkle creams to eliminate wrinkles from their faces. What they don’t know is that you can use simple items that you can find right at your own home that will also give you the same effects. Aside from being much cheaper and safer, you can also choose which ones you like to use and it is also a good way to spend your free time.

One thing that you can do is to research over the internet the many different recipes you can use to make your own wrinkle cream. Some of the more common recipes make use of distilled water, emollients such as waxes and oils, preservatives, essential oils, thickeners and emulsifiers.

A sample recipe that you can use would include beeswax, jojoba oil, rose water, borax and other essential oils. Beeswax acts as your emollient while borax is your preservative. The other ingredients have the anti-wrinkle effects which will help you look younger.

You don’t always have to use a cream in order to look younger as well. You can use substances on their own such as coconut oil and it will also give you a good anti-aging effect. Coconut oil is used by applying it on the area where wrinkles are visible. Massage this on the affected area everyday until wrinkles slowly start to disappear.

Using of a banana, mashing it and applying it on the face is also a good choice for eliminating wrinkles and improving the skin. Mash the banana until it has a creamy texture and apply it on the face for 20 minutes each day. Rinse it off using warm water afterwards.

A common substance used as a facial mask is honey. You can use this by first putting a warm towel over your face to open up your pores. After a few minutes, you can apply the honey all over the face and leave in on for a few minutes. This is usually just done once a week so you may want to use other methods while you are not doing this for the rest of the week.

Some people have also used egg whites combined with cucumber and lemon extracts. Cucumber extract will help relax and refresh the skin while lemon helps in exfoliating the skin to expose the younger and blemish free layer of the skin. Egg white serves as the carrier which also has some moisturizing effects. The only problem with using egg whites is that it can have a certain smell that some people do not like.

These are just some of the items that you can find at home that you can use to improve the appearance of wrinkles. You don’t always have to rely on commercially sold creams just to be able to look younger. You can simply look around your house and look for natural and organic items that will give you the same results which much less risk of exposure to potentially harmful chemicals.
