Yes, beauty is only skin deep, but you might as well make that skin look great! For women who want a more natural approach to beauty, there are plenty of holistic wrinkle treatment options that do not require toxic ingredients or painful injections. In fact, the ingredients for a homemade wrinkle remover may be in your refrigerator right now! This article is about some natural skin care products that will help you glow.

Essential oils are a natural, fragrant way to keep your skin smooth and fresh. Don’t confuse essential oils with perfumes or fragrance oils. To make your own wrinkle remover, use 1 drop of geranium oil, 2 drops of lavender, and 1 tablespoon of sweet almond oil. It’s best to let the mixture set for a day or two to allow it to fuse. Use a few drops of this blend of oils after you cleanse and tone your skin. You should perform a patch test to avoid skin irritation.

Another effective anti-aging skin product is organic plain yogurt that you can buy at any grocery store. Put a thin layer on your face every night before bed and let sit on your skin until it is completely dry. Then take a soft wash cloth and in gentle circular motions remove from skin and rinse the residue away with warm water. You’ll immediately notice how plump and fresh your skin looks.

Here’s a skin wrinkle removal remedy that you can get excited about – dark chocolate. The flavonoids in dark chocolate help to increase the way the blood flows through your body and skin, and is a great protection against UV light that cause wrinkles and other skin problems. However, chocolate can be hard on the waistline, so you can also buy topical products that are cocoa based. For example, Le Fondant O Chocolat is a face cream that is said to provide nourishing and protective properties to the skin thanks to cocoa butter. You can even make a do-it-yourself chocolate facial. Take 1/4 cup unsweetened dark cocoa powder, which you will work into a paste by adding 1/ 8 cup coconut milk, 1 teaspoon of extra virgin olive oil and a heaping tablespoon of green tea powder.

Organic skin care may not be for everyone. To safely use an organic or herbal wrinkle remover, perform a patch test first. You should also research the ingredients before you use them. Some essential oils, for example, may not be safe for pregnant women. You wouldn’t buy a skin cream at the drug store without reading the box first. Make sure that you do the same thing with natural products.
