There seems to be an almost infinite number of illnesses that can result from lack of dental care. Where these diseases may also have other possible causes, poor or lack dental care is usually a factor. One such illness is pyorrhea.

What Is Pyorrhea? Pyorrhea is a worse case of dental illness. The cause of it, as many dental conditions is the accumulation of bad bacteria in the mouth. There are always bacteria in the mouth, but the amounts of bad bacteria are normally kept under control. When the amount is not controlled, then conditions such as pyorrhea can be developed.

What Does Pyorrhea Do? This accumulation of bad bacteria in the mouth is bad news. In severe condition of pyorrhea gum disease, the bones surrounding the teeth are damaged. In some cases, they can also be infected. If this illness is allowed to acute, although it may be a loss of both tissues and bones. This loss of bone and tissue may become irrevocable, at some point. Teeth may become loose and they may be lost altogether.

What Can You Do About Pyorrhea? Pyorrhea is best dealt with before you get it and in the majority of cases this condition is totally avoidable. All you to do is to practice good oral hygiene. Brush at least twice daily and do so in a thorough manner. Additionally, you will need to floss at least once a day to make sure there is no food left between your teeth.

The right natural product can work safely and gently while killing the bad bacteria that lie at the root of this and other dental diseases. Removing these harmful bacteria, pyorrhea will not exists.
