Animated Video Templates And PowerPoint 2007

Some PowerPoint 2007 users may be having a problem playing videos embedded using the new PowerPoint 2010 version. This can affect the animated PowerPoint templates video playback when used with PowerPoint 2007. This is most likely do to your computer not having the most recent update for Microsoft Office. Don’t worry though, there is a quick fix for this problem that will get your videos working in no time.

Animated templates require that you have installed updates for Office 2007, which are provided by Microsoft. There are a few ways you can find these updates to fix the problem with the 2007 PowerPoint software.

These updates are free from Microsoft and can be accessed through “Windows Update” on your computer. If you are unable to find the Windows Update on your computer you will have to go to the Microsoft website and download the update from there.

Specifically, a PowerPoint 2007 user needs to make sure they have installed the “2007 Microsoft Office Suite Service Pack 2.” If you are not sure if you have this update installed just download it and it will say that if you don’t need to install the update.

This will bring your Office 2007 version of PowerPoint back up to speed and up to date, allowing the embedded video to play correctly in the PowerPoint templates. OK, well I think your all fixed up and ready to start showing off some awesome presentations with animated PowerPoint templates.

If for some reason your video in your PowerPoint templates does not play, make sure you also have the newest version of windows media player installed on your computer.
