How To Build Your List Easily In Three Steps.

By Frank Bow

Have heard the saying the “money is in the list” ? No doubt you have. It’s all over the internet, but to be successful do you really need a list ? I would say the answer to this question has to be yes, as once you have built a good sized listyou have your own ready made customer base for the future. This will save you time of having to find new customers through advertising etc… by having your customer base. You will also save the money that you may have used for advertising.

There are various ways of how to build your list easily. Here are a few tips of the cheapest ways to do this.

Your Own Website.

First of all you will need your own website, you send your potential customers to your site and then capture their name and email addresses with an opt in form that you have set up on the site. Give away a free report or ebook to your visitors to encourage them to do this. All this may seem a bit daunting if you have never set up a website or an opt in form before. There are plenty of videos explaining how to do this. But for a step by step, hold your hand type of training I would try Optin Profits. Once you have your site and opt in form set up it is now time to get traffic to your website. Here are some cheap ways to get started.

1. Article Marketing.

Writing articles is a great way of getting traffic to your website. Once you get your articles published you can forget all about them and still be receiving traffic for years to come. Don’t just write one article and expect floods of traffic to your site, the more articles you have published the more visitors you will get. So do as many as you can. It will seem a bit scary at first , but once you have your first few articles published and you see the results you are getting writing will become easier. You just have to be yourself when you are writing and your visitors will realise you are not just copying someone elses words.

2. Forums

If you have used wordpress to set up your website you already have a place to start blogging. There are lots of blogging sites that you can become a member of. Begin blogging on the product you are promoting. You must also make sure you add a link to your website as this is the whole reason for having the blog. If you can write blogs that are interesting, people will visit your site to see what you are promoting .and hopefully lead to sales for you. So begin blogging as quickly as you can and get those visitors to your site.

3. Blogging

You start by finding forums that are in some way connected to the product you are promoting. Browse through the posts and if see if you can answer any of the problems the people on the forum are having then let them know. This will have people believing you are an expert on the subject, (even if your not). When you leave your reply on the forums you add a signature at the bottom with your website url included. If you post something of value in the forum you will get visit to your site from people eager to see what you are promoting and if it can help them solve their problem. If it can you may very well have yourself a new customer. You should capture their name and email address with your opt in form, as they will want to see your free report or ebook. If they don’t buy from you this time they may want something you promote in the future. Do not go spamming on the forums by just replying to any post just to get your signature seen. You will be seen as a nuisance if you just post for the sake of it, with no answer to a persons problem. So therefore nobody will be clicking on your website url.

There you have it 3 easy ways to start promoting your website for free and building yourself a list for a very prosperous future. Gaining the trust of your list is a must, offer them unexpected free bonuses like a report or ebook every now and then . The more trust you build with your list the more likely they are to buy from you in the future. If you need help on building your list you should have a look at Optin Profits. It has step by step videos and you will set yourself up to make a profit from your list.

There are many other ways to build a list, but these three will get you started for free and once you have made some money you can always reinvest it in your business to get even more traffic.
