There is only 1 sure way of attaining fulfillment in any side of your life and that is to become excellent in that area. This is applicable to both your career and to your personal life.

Naturally enough excellence alone is not enough, you must be excellent in areas that matter and you have to publicise your excellence with humbleness. It will not work to roar about your excellence from the rooftops, that may only serve to upset people who will accuse you of being a self-promoter. No, rather you should let your excellent accomplishments speak for themselves.

One of the very first and still the most useful of NLP techniques is modeling; the coding and reproduction of the excellent behaviour of those individuals that are the absolute best. The critical point to understand about modeling is that no single human is excellent in every part of their life. Some are remarkable at one skill and others are excellent at another.

For you to rise to a position of excellence by modeling your behaviour on that of others you will absolutely certainly need to find more than one role model. You could have to show patience. The role model you wish to use for your study may not appear just when you want them to. Sometimes you could have to study role models in the movies or on the telly. This is never as straightforward as studying live subjects nevertheless it can be done and it does work.

Make your start by knowing the specific ability at which you want to achieve excellence. Then find the person that is excellent and start to study precisely what it is they do. Pay plenty of attention to the language they use, to their idiosyncrasies, to their thinking patterns, how they present themselves and how they organise their lives.

As is my way I would recommend that you go on an NLP course or you study with a well trained NLP practitioner.
