Crime Scene Investigation, The Primary Step To Entrap A Criminal

By Connor Sullivan

Crime scene investigation is the procedure that alarms many culprits. Despite the desperate efforts, a criminal tends to leave behind some proofs for their wrong action. Through this fact finding process, it’s not very simple for the culprit to escape. However, an innocent can be saved if he go for the Las Vegas bail bonds. A Las Vegas bail bond option can provide you funds to ensure you of secure and fast release. However the truth of your innocence can be proven by the investigations from the crime sight.

For doing this investigation, a specific order of events is followed. Different professionals have their own means and techniques yet their aim seem to be similar. CSI professionals’ common objective is to reach to the real culprit by means of profound evidence gathered from the scene.

A criminal investigation begins at the site where the crime has been done which is why officials make sure that the place is secluded so that the important proof might not be lost. Another advantage of keeping the crime scene separate is to guard it from any unwanted person who may wish to modify the evidence in a manner that it points to the victim or an innocent rather than to the real culprit. As far as the size of the guarded area is concerned, it depends on the case and the processes planned to guard the evidence. The police or the seach service to whom the case is given to is actually responsible for preventing the unnecessary people from coming into the crime scene. Usually a boundary is raised surrounding the place. The eye witnesses are called outside the crime scene so that the investigation team can ask them necessary questions. If the crime is a murder then the team will include CSI professionals besides the investigators.

A CSI technician mainly specializes in dealing with material proof such as the hair, fibers, blood stained objects, bullet shells, body fluids or any other material evidence. Many pictures of the proof are taken, and the material proof is gathered in a preserved pack to avoid any contamination. The proof is then genuinely observed later in a laboratory. This follows a detailed report from the expert, who explains the evidence found from the crime site. As for the searcher, he is the person who asks questions from the witnesses, and collects other information from the police officer authorized for the place. The evidence and the information from the eye witnesses are shared among the investigation group. This team mainly includes the technician, the pathologist, the coroner, the forensic anthropologist along with other specialists that have seen and collected details from the crime scene. The investigator controls the information that is given to the press and he is the one who tells the complete crime and evidence story to the prosecutor.

After all these fact findings and analysis, the investigation group creates a stronghold around the culprit, and later it’s the task of the law enforcing agency and judicial system to penalize the convict. This is what we call catching the culprit with profound proof.
