How To Attract People To Get Your Brochure
Brochure: You see them in grocery aisles, shopping centers, banks, airports, passenger vehicle terminals, conventions, and almost in every site where people normally flock. Various sizes and colors invade every nook and corner of crowded spots. Sometimes they are overlooked, sometimes passersby pick them up. There are even instances when people pick them up to beat boredom. But whatever reason they have, there is always a brochure available when you need it.
There’s no question that they are attention-grabbing, their flashy colors or big bold font and their strategic locations made sure they would get your notice. But with all the other brochures out there, catching your notice isn’t enough. The real test of a good brochure is that it will stick out in the sea of other colorful pamphlets, enough to have you pick it out from the rest.
That said, you can make your brochure stand out with just a few steps.
The first and most crucial step is knowing your intended readers. Maybe you have created the coolest design you could think of, but will your target readers even give that cool design more than a passing glance? Not knowing what your intended market is and what they like and understand will surely be the death of your effort.
Just because a brochure usually has multiple pages, it doesn’t mean it can look like a whole chapter pulled out from a book. Create a title text that sums up the entire aim. A one-word title in big clear font would be ideal. Just follow it up with an accompanying caption that further explains it. Also, keep the data short and to the point on the following pages.
Don’t forget to include your business’ name and contact information. You would want clients to visit your salesroom or contact your business for more info after reading the brochures you made. Forgetting to include your business’ contact details will defeat your aim.
Design it on how your intended readers wants it and what your message is all about. Color and font style should also be taken into consideration. And just like data, design overload may also kill it. Stick to one theme and utilize it on all the pages.
Lastly, the brochures must be located in an eye-catching place where you intended market mostly remain. People won’t bother to pick a brochure that says something about a big store sale event that is occurring in another city.
Those are just some of the basic steps you should consider when you want your brochure to stick out. You could also try adding glimmering texts or other special effects or even have pretty girls to personally give out the brochures if you think those would help. But for starters, try the mentioned steps first to ensure your brochures would be given more than a passing glance by your target market.
