All it takes for a great self car wash is some good accessories and a few easy to follow steps as mentioned below. You can begin by hosing down your car to get rid of the layer of dust and grime from its body. Now start soaping the roof with good quality car wash shampoo.
Do not use kitchen cleaners, no matter how efficient they prove to be with your greasy dishes. They can be abrasive for the surface coating and thus, can steal the glimmer from your vehicle and make it look dull. There is a large range of car cleaning products available in the stores, but you must choose only the best ones.
Make sure the sponge you use is fairly new and clean, otherwise you will end up putting more grime on your car than you take away from it. You should use micro fibre mitts to ensure that you don’t wear away the sparkle with your cleaning.
Once you have thoroughly cleaned the roof, go through the same procedure with the hood, the rear and sides in that order. When you have completed soaping your vehicle from tip to toe, use the hose and remove all the soap from the body of your vehicle. After this, your car still needs just a little bit more to be done to sparkle and shine again.
Leaving your car in the sun after just having cleaned it will result in water marks all over the surface of the car. Therefore, you should use chamois leather to wipe it properly so that it shines with a new found lustre.
The entire process is sure to result in a shiny looking vehicle, and it will be no less effective than a car wash provided by professional car cleaners.
