Good Quality In Social Media Marketing

By TJ Corrunthers

Social media marketing – a collective of usual words such as promotions, advertising, campaigns, profit, and linkages. There are still lots of words related to this concept, as well as inner workings and secrets needed to make this marketing scheme work. The technical aspect of timing, content, and intensity is easily learned through lessons from books and online content. However, the rest of the outcome depends on the personal touch of each promoter. This remaining area determines the probable success through ROI, and is dictated by two components: quality and attitude of users.

In the real world, media marketing is a one way process. Television, radio, and print publications show the items and services available, and the viewers just listen without any chance of immediate feedback. Improvements and changes may only be done after the initial survey results come in. Social media marketing online is two way. Users who get to experience the advertising campaign are able to comment and provide immediate feedback.

Getting the attention of the users may be the first thing that should be secured by the marketer. Doing so enables them to remain and check out the advertised site for the second time around. Retained users who regularly check in already become secondary marketers for your cause.

The attitude of the people in one’s linkages is established after getting their attention. This either is a good or a bad one. Having the initial attention as positive as possible is best as the latter may immediately mean one less potential client base to have.

Nevertheless, having someone in a good attitude does not necessarily mean a successful addition to the list as the attention and perception of each good response may dwindle or improve through as new content is added to the post.

A good way to keep the attitude of linked subscribers and keep social media marketing in a healthy state is to keep them interested. Keeping them interested means keeping their attention. This can be achieved by providing new content that is both reliable and valid. Another is to offer a healthy feedback environment to increase the overall quality of a two way process between readers.

The quality of the linkages also plays a vital role in determining the ROI for a given campaign. You may have thousands of approved invites within a certain community, but they may be spam accounts; that is, they are just accounts made for a different purpose, instead of a unique profile that is active.

Start with a few but highly managed links with good to excellent relationships and work your way up from there. The better quality of linkages, the more active and more potent they become, becoming secondary advertisers through their own network’s links and referrals.
