MLM Leads that Dont Eat Up Profits

When you started your new stay-at-home business, you were probably happy and enthusiastic about the chance to make money right in your own home. You would be able to spend more time with your family while making an additional income and the possibility that the future money from this MLM plan would be there as long as you lived.
You passed out the flyers, you talked to friends and family members at social gatherings, and perhaps you even sponsored parties yourself. And now, a short time later you realize youve spent a lot of money resulting in little profit. Friends and family avoid you. Its no longer a creative game, its expensive.
What happened here? You did everything you were supposed to do, attended seminars and events and you have a great product. You were eager to tell friends what you had and you thought everyone would want it. But you are still spending more than you make.
You may want to reconsider your tactics before you quit. The technology of today offers other ways to generate leads that cost less and often are more effective.
Here are three of the ways to look for leads that you may not have tried yet:
Events Networking
Use the internet to search for ongoing networking events in your community. Given the increase in unemployment rates, there are more people looking for an alternative income source then ever. They are also more approachable than ever. In most communities there are events going on almost every week with people looking to sell their products and find a job or opportunity. But be careful at these events not to oversell your product or service to people, get to know the person you are talking to and see how you can help them before you jump into your pitch. If you are helpful and friendly the chances to build a relationship that turns into an opportunity will go up multifold.
Internet Social Networks
This rapidly increasing part of the internet can give you a rapidly expanding business if you use it in the same way you work a live event. Become helpful and friendly and get to know the person you are communicating to and eventually they will realize you have a good product for them, too. Pushing your product at the beginning of a relationship with someone new will just drive them away ” they think just another MLMer is trying to get rid of a product. So go slow and become a friend. You will enjoy it more, too.
Other Internet Activities
Webinars and eBooks and similar internet tools used to expand your list of prospects can be profitable without spending much money and in some cases you can make money with these tools as well. Go about using these in the same manner as described in the above two paragraphs ” provide the person with information and support on a friendly basis before you ask him or her to buy. That will augment your possibility of getting the person to join you and improve your reliability. This way of attracting people to your plan is called attraction marketing.
The key to using these plans ” internet or in person – to build your business is to offer more than you expect in return. Build up a connection with a prospect before you just try to sell something. If you have a good product, then your business will expand and you will be successful.
Attract an endless stream of new prospects to you, who are ready to join your business.
