Network Marketing Program

By helping other people succeed first is the only way you can succeed in a network marketing program. In other words, the more success you will have, when you help more people. A phrase coined over 30 years ago called “Pushing Up People” was by Art Williams, multi-millionaire and founder of A.L. Williams. “Pushing Up People” ? What does that actually mean? Instead of treating them like employees or people “under” you, in a nutshell, it’s about treating people right and in a way that actually praises and encourages them.

Here are 3 recommendations for applying the “Pushing Up People” concept in your network marketing program:

#1. Put Them First – Always talk about what THEY want. Your team members actually don’t care about what YOU want, they’re concerned about what THEY want. Because it’s human nature to have a “What’s In It For Me?” mentality, so that’s OK. You should ALWAYS talk about THEM and what THEY want. Talking about THEM advancing through your company’s ranks or Pin levels. Talk about THEM winning the company promotions. Talk about THEM meeting their income milestones. As a by-product, YOU will move on too, win company contest and break through your own income milestones.

#2. Don’t Be so Concerned About Your Income, Be More Concerned About Their Income – Keep in mind, that if you’re team members make money, you’ll make money. I know this is something you’ve probably heard a gazillion times and extremely BASIC mlm training, but it still amazes me how many network marketing business owners totally drop the ball on this principle. Being so focused on themselves, the typical marketer don’t go to work with their new team members to build their team and income. This in turn usually sets up their new marketer for failure and possibly quitting the business. Of course, the marketer by him/herself returns to square one. However, if the same marketer simply started to work with a couple of people and really put the spotlight on them and helped them sponsor a handful of other people, they can position themselves for a “small” profit that can turn into a “medium-sized” profit that can turn into a “large” profits. Now, I KNOW that it doesn’t work that way all the time in the “real world”, but I’m trying to make you understand that working with others and growing their businesses will eventually grow yours too.

#3. Because People are starving for praise and recognition, Treat People Like They Have A Flashing Sign On Their Chest That Says “Make Me Feel Special”. At their work and their homes, the typical person gets 0 recognition. Being aware of this, you can make people feel special and appreciated just by giving them sincere compliments and praising them for any little thing they did right. Don’t put down people and don’t point out every single thing they do wrong. They’re BOSS at work leaves no stone unturned in that aspect. Be different… Be the person they actually WANT to be around because of the way they feel around you.

In closing, always remember that if you’re in network marketing, you are in the PEOPLE business. You better practice “Pushing Up People” if you want to ATTRACT and RETAIN new marketers.
