What Are The Advantages Of PPV?

By Finn Roberts

Pay per View or PPV traffic is a form of advertising a website to a targeted audience. PPV has the same concept with Pay per Click where the site owner gets charged whenever the advertisement is clicked. The only difference with the two is that PPV is presented through a pop up while PPC are just plain ads placed in one corner of the page.

When one visits a niche relevant to the website, the PPV ad will be activated. The pop up ad will prompt the user to visit the site. The advantage of PPV is its ability to put the traffic directly in front of the user. On the other hand, PPC stays only in the page.

The site owner will only be charged if someone clicks his/her ad. When the pop up ad is shown to every opened website with related content, it will increase the possibility of reaching the website’s target audiences. This is so since the user’s needed website is directly pointed to him/her. The site being advertised will appear in the pop up.

PPV traffic selects keywords and categories as well to determine as to which site they will be placed. Once the user do a keyword search on the search engine and opens the corresponding site, the pop up of the advertised site will appear. Therefore, choosing the appropriate keywords and categories are critical for it determines the success of getting huge traffic for the site.

Though considered adware, PPV pop ups are sure to be safe on one’s system. Advertisement of PPV is more visible than PPV. PPV is likewise less expensive than PPC. Making the ad attractive and informative is the key to a successful PPV traffic. The ad should contain only those useful information because the ad is limited in size. The site owner will have to save the rest of the information on the website.
