Over the past few years, different corporations have introduced web design software, which has allowed people with minimal website design knowledge to build a website. These websites may not be much attractive, but they will have all the basic elements of a website. These web design software code itself while people handle design elements. I’ve worked with numerous web software and have collected some popular tools to build a website.

Dreamweaver was first developed by Macromedia that was later bought by Adobe Corporations, and it received a bunch of new tools and a whole new look. The MX version of Dreamweaver was the preferred version of the software, which was followed by CS version.

The very best feature of Adobe Dreamweaver is its ability to support multiple technologies and codes, which allow website designers to build an internet site utilizing different codes from a single platform. Adobe Dreamweaver supports a wide variety of codes together with HTML, CSS, XHTML, DHTML, JavaScript, Shockwave and lots of more.

The whole web design software is divided into coding and graphical user interface. These two interfaces are linked together, and it automatically creates pieces. People who don’t have much knowledge about coding can use the graphical interface while the codes are written by the software and vise versa.

The software also have build-in FTP (file transfer protocol) client that comes with basic features. It’s a light weight and straightforward to use, and it is perfect for amateur designers to build a website. However, professionals normally use CS4 or web designing suites, which comes with all necessary tools. These suits may be expensive but are acceptable in case you are in search of a bunch of web site designing tools similar to Dreamweaver, Flash, Shockwave, Adobe Air and more.

Adobe GoLive is the second most popular web design software, and it is also owned by Adobe Corporation. Although Adobe stopped the development of Adobe GoLive in 2008, but it’s still an excellent choice for amateur web site designers. It might not have all the tools of Dreamweaver however it convenient for new website designers, and it provides so much to learn.

The company is now focusing on the development of Dreamweaver, which is expected to assist new web technologies such as Adobe Air. The company can also be providing a $199 upgrade to Dreamweaver for GoLive customers.

However, Adobe GoLive is still a excellent tool to design small websites such as utilizing CSS. The Adobe GoLive offers basic tools of website designing software similar to HTML editor and content management tools.

Note Tab is a popular text editor that can also be used to code HTML websites. It may not have all the tools of website designing software such as of Dreamweaver, but it has a bunch of marvelous coding tools. It has a complete text editor, bug remover and other bunch of useful tools.

However, NoteTab will require a separate FTP client to upload the files to hosting server. The NoteTab is also compatible with Windows 7 and its student version cost $19.ninety five while professional version cost $29.95.
