Everyone wishes for a car that is completely free of dust and marks, but taking care of cars is a rather difficult job. If you want your car to look as good as new, increase its longevity, or get a really good resale price, you should devote some time and energy to take care of it.

Prolonged use over a considerable period of time eventually causes the shine of the car to be ruined by stains, making it look ragged, especially if the original layer of paint is getting discoloured. A complete routine for taking care of your car that includes car wash and waxing, in addition to car polishing can make the car appear as good as new.

You first have to remove all the dirt through an extensive car wash with adequate water and shampoo, after which you need to consider either waxing or polishing it. There exists a great amount of confusion among people over when the car needs to be polished and when to apply car wax. It is important for you as the owner of the car to have a clear idea about what the needs of your car are.

Car wax is a mixture of carnauba and other wax variants, which give the car exterior a wet and shiny appearance. But in absence of abrasive ingredients, car waxes are not able to get rid of stubborn stains and they cannot withstand high temperatures.

Whereas car polishes possess a unique ingredient called Teflon, which makes them stay longer on your car and gives it a brand new look. Also, polish is a lot more effective in case of marks and stains that are prominent.

If your car has to deal with dust and grime on the road everyday, car polishing is normally the best solution. A car wax might be good for certain occasions that need the car to have a special shine, but it is not perfect for prolonged use. So you have to keep in mind the model and build of the car and your everyday routine when you assess what your car needs, and finally decide upon a solution that makes the car look brand new and also suitable for use for several years.

Do you need a thorough and complete car wash? Give your ride a sleek car polish it deserves and needs.
