Achieving Great Success By Using Email Marketing

Too many people reject the idea of email marketing because they have a close mental association between it and email spam. It is your responsibility to come up with email campaigns that your customer will like, look at, and act upon. These are some great ideas you can try right away.

Try different email formats. Always place new offers and the most vital information at the top of the emails you send. You should however experiment with various formats in order to identify which format elicits the most responses. Once you know which ones will work and which ones won’t, keep doing the successful ones! Your customers will be more comfortable with something that is useful and familiar to them.

Include a customer incentive in your emails. Subscribers will be more likely to execute a particular action if they feel as though there is something in it for them. For example, you can offer free shipping on purchases over a certain minimum dollar amount for those who click on a certain link and place an order on your site.

If you’d like your emails to feel more personal, try mixing up your format every so often. So, if you usually send out HTML formatted emails, then mix it up and send out an email in something like plain text format. Create an emotional bond with your customers by making your message well written and by including personal touches.

Include two email fields on your email opt-in forms. It’s common for people to type in their email address wrong when they first type it in. For example, they could flip-flop letters of the address. This will ensure that the customer doesn’t make a mistake in their email address by forcing them to type it twice.

When following up with prospective clients, you should consider sending them follow-up emails that have a message about your services or products. Encourage them to shop with you by highlighting reasons why they should. The conclusion of the email can claim that your product or service is guaranteed to be effective for up to 30 days or their money will be returned to them.

Remember who your audience is as you apply what you’ve just learned from this article. Think about what readers might want to see. What information would they like to read?
