One of the most important things to remember when it comes to e-mail marketing is that too much contact is a bad thing. Your marketing campaign should contain interesting and relevant content. Use pre-header material to enhance the preview of your emails. A preheader is basically just the first line of text from the email body highlighted at the top. This is also effective at making readers more likely to go over the whole message. This is quite essential, as you probably will have important links and content at, or near, the end of the email.

Set up your data entry to include subscriber birthdate information and send a message of celebration. Set up things so that happy birthday messages are automatically sent to readers on their big day. Discount or coupons are also great ideas for subscriber birthdays.
