Want To Learn More About Email Marketing? Read On
By Jill Wilson
Email marketing may sound difficult or daunting at first. However, if you arm yourself with the necessary knowledge, it can be an invaluable tool for growing your business.
Don’t contact people via email without permission. People will regard suspicious emails as potential spam and ignore or delete these emails. It also puts you at risk of being in violation of the policies of both your ISP and your email provider if you are flagged as being a spammer.
Keep to a regular schedule with your emails and newsletters. Ideally, your emails should be sent on a certain day of each week, at a consistent time. Your subscribers will be looking forward to getting emails as often as you promised them in the beginning, and they will be looking for it to be available at that time.
Call to action wording is essential to a successful email campaign. Clearly tell them how to receive the offers you have. When you include links, be sure to make them easily seen and even include instructions that cover how the links should be used. Include these sections in the top and the bottom of your message.
You should think about combining your email campaigns with other marketing techniques, such as social media marketing. These networks make it easier for customers to share your information with others, and you can grow your mailing list organically by interacting with visitors at your social networking sites, drumming up interest for your content.
Do not send more than 1 email a week to your subscriber base. Chances are, your customers receive a ton of email everyday, just like you. If you send too many messages, you will just become part of the clutter. They may begin skipping them, or worse, deleting them without ever reading!
Remember these tips so you can make your marketing campaign the best possible. Use these on your ongoing campaign or on a new one, so that you can succeed quickly.
