A Little Information About Apple Laptops
By Ryan Baggins
Today, you see an ever increasing number of people who are using Apple laptops. They are now a rather popular as an alternative to the traditional PC. Apple is currently marketing three different ranges of notebook computers which cater to a number of different needs. There is the standard MacBook, the MacBook Pro and the MacBook Air.
Firstly, the MacBook Air is Apples ultra portable solution. Introduced on the 15th of January, 2008, they have become very popular laptops for businessmen on the move and other people travelling. They also have high specifications in spite of their small size. These specifications include dual core Intel processors, up to 2 GB of RAM and hard disks at least 120 GB. Connectivity is also dramatically improved over previous models.
On the higher end of Apples product line, you have the MacBook Pro. These laptops are extremely powerful, sporting 17 inch screens, desktop replacement quality graphics cards, as much as 4 GB of memory, enormous hard disks and of course powerful dual core processors. These are marketed towards power users, professionals and computer enthusiasts.
Finally, the MacBook Air is an ultra portable solution which weighs very little that is not skimp on power. Introduced in the beginning of 2008, they have now become very popular solutions for people on the road. In spite of their small size, they still have 13 inch screens, 2 GB in memory, dual core CPUs and generously large hard disks.
Apple provides a number of advantages with their products over the traditional PCs. Apple laptops are typically more user friendly and have a number of features that you will not find on Windows-based computers. The thing that worries most people is the compatibility options, however, in the latest Macintosh computers, it is even possible to run Windows through a virtual machine, so you can happily use all the software which you used on Windows.
