The Popularity Of Payment Processors In Cable TV Companies

By Jamar Wilson

Over the past few years, small and big businesses are finding ways to complete transactions as fast as possible. This is one of the reasons why businesses like to take it at a whole new level to make their transactions fast, through the use of payment processors. This is where businesses and customers are making their own transactions online, by simply sending and receiving money to their accounts. Payment processors are considered to be an online savings account which a user may deposit, send and receive money while using their personal computer.

Entrepreneurs and businessmen are likely concerned on the daily sales and revenue whether it goes up or not. For most cable and satellite TV companies, it takes a long time for them to recover their return on investment because of the huge investment. Providing satellite dish to the customers for connecting with their service provider is an important thing for them, rather than sticking to an antenna-type TV with only local channels to watch.

Is it possible enough for local company to compete with international companies? Restaurants like McDonald’s, Jollibee, Burger King, KFC, Shakey’s and Pizza Hut have lots of branches around the world, and they won’t be denied. It results for them to increase their gross sales and revenue when expanding them throughout the world, and all of them have met their worldwide customers’ expectations on the product, price and quality. The same thing goes to fashion, consumable and electronic products that they increased their customers’ attractions on purchasing those products.

But what about the possibility of cable television business to compete with other cable companies? They are not like the restaurants, gadgets, and other products because they cannot meet the needs of its customers. For example, Sky Cable has lots of establishments in the Philippines and it is growing rapidly. But why is it that they did not expand their services to other countries? They cannot expand it because they think that other countries may not be pleased with their packages, or even the company itself would predict a possible loss for them.
In the US, they were the same as well.

They did not expand their cable TV services to other countries because others are concerned about the price. Although they were interested about the quality and packages of their cable television, but the price is the point. It really depends on the rate of a US dollar to their own currency, whether it is cheap or expensive. It’s not that easy for cable TV companies to expand their services worldwide, because they know it is not possible or no need for them to compete with the international cable TV companies because of geographical reasons. They might stick on expanding their cable TV services within their country, and at least it’s very important for them to get into the top of the mountain in collecting gross sales and revenue for their companies.
