The Future Generation Of Video Game Systems: What To Expect

By Manuel Friaz

In the past, everybody thought they knew where the video gaming industry was going. Almost all people who love to play with video games thought that video game systems or consoles will become more powerful, faster, and have better graphics and sounds with plenty of cool accessories. However, this type of perception in the future of the video game system industry changed when the Nintendo Wii came along.

At first, everybody thought that video gaming was just about sitting down and pushing a bunch of buttons on their joystick or game pad. However, this wasn’t the case for Nintendo Wii.

Instead of the traditional way of playing with video games, Nintendo Wii just had to go to the next level. Even though Nintendo Wii is inferior when it comes to graphics, it didn’t disappoint even the toughest video gaming critic out there. In fact, the Nintendo Wii became the top selling video game system.

So, just what is with Nintendo Wii that a lot of people are considering this as the video game system that is paving the way for the future of video gaming?

For starters, the Nintendo Wii is highly interactive. It doesn’t just require you to sit down and push a bunch of buttons to play the game, but you really need to get up and move your body or at least some of it.

The key feature of the Nintendo Wii is the infrared motion sensitive remote. Known also as the Wii Remote or the Wii-mote, this feature is highly sensitive to movements. And, depending on the game you are playing, you’ll need to follow certain movements in order for your character in the game to execute the movements properly.

What this means is that if you are playing baseball, you need to do a throwing motion like you would when you throw a baseball if you are the pitcher. You also need to swing your arms if you are batting.

There are also high action games in Wii where you need to swing a katana at your opponent. There’s also boxing and a lot more games in Nintendo Wii that will require you to move your body. You will even see the latest innovation by Nintendo Wii called the Wii Fit. This particular accessory and game promotes exercise and healthy living. The game will actually be your fitness trainer and it will monitor your weight as well as your progress in the game.

The best thing about Nintendo Wii is its simplicity. It doesn’t have the bells and whistles that the other popular video game system has, such as Blu-ray disc playing capabilities, and better online gaming experience but it has what people are looking for which is highly interactive gaming experience.

The future of video game system is already here. With the Nintendo Wii, you will be able to experience something new and unique in playing with video games.

Because of its success, it will not be a surprise that the future generation of video game systems will base on the highly interactive feature of the Nintendo Wii.

So, if you are wondering what the future holds for the video game industry, you may want to take a look at Nintendo Wii. This is considered by a lot of people as the start of a great future in the video gaming industry.
