Definition Of Love

By Paul Peterson

What’s love? This looks a surprisingly straightforward query.

Is it that easy? We all talk so much about love, read so much about love and use the word love so thoughtlessly. What’s love? Think for a minute? What’s love? Is it a relationship? Is it an emotion? What is it? Let us explore. Let us first inspect what it means to fall completely in love, or what occurs to a lover who falls in love. Then we will be able to carry on from there. A glance at the face and you can notice if somebody is head over heels in love? The eyes look dreamy, the grin comes on many times, and often you will hear a laugh, all while the lover is alone. It could be some recollection of times past. Or else you will observe the fun of meeting the beloved. The work is finished fast, or deferred, eyes shine bright and look excited thinking about the time ahead, the heartbeat visibly goes up, and the walk is awfully fast, in a rush to meet the beloved. To meet, share and walk together. Why? Love, But what’s love? Ask somebody to elucidate, and you’ll get an answer like he / she’s dearest to my heart.

I feel heavenly. He/she’s positively great. We won’t think about life without one another. If anything happens to my beloved, I am going to die.

Oh, I feel so good when I’m with my partner, I can’t describe. You may hear all of these and plenty more such rambling answers. But nothing categorical about what exactly is love. Is this making sense? Let me try responding to this question. Love is an emotion that ties one individual to another in a relationship that can’t be described. Lovers are worried only about making their beloved cheerful. Those in deep love can’t keep away even for a small time. They’re prepared to forget and sacrifice almost all of their other relations in the interests of their love. They’re prepared to die for one another, and history tells us that often it actually occurs. Love is an emotional relationship that cannot ever be described, but can only be experienced.

Try explaining the flavor of sugar, to someone that hasn’t tasted anything sweet. You may never be in a position to do it. For the other person has to eat sugar. In a similar way, love can never be explained. One has to fall in like to know of its exhilaration. Please do so at the earliest opportunity.
