When you use the standard pick up lines you are not likely to be successful simply because it is quite obvious that is what you are using. If you have been using anything remotely cliche you may as well head home for the evening as soon as you get there. The intention of the words can not be well communicated through cliche material.

If you have been thinking about approaching someone and are looking online for suggestions you will find a lot of written material. You can also find plenty of suggestions that will draw your attention to finding a great compliment. This can be effective, but charm is also quite magical.

A perfect example of this would be to attach your name and number to paper money. Ask the person whose attention your craving if they dropped it. You actually want them to say no, so that you can ask them to take it anyway because it was made especially for them.

Simple but cute gestures can be some of the most impressive ways to gain someone’s attention. You do not have to get wildly over the top to achieve what you are looking to accomplish. Rather, keeping things obvious enough to be noticed but subtle enough to avoid being embarrassing is really the best path.

No matter how you put it together or find ways to open up the direct route can always be the best. Try just walking up to someone and telling them why you are approaching them. If you are at a club, ask them to dance. If you are noticing someone at a grocery store, tell them. Straight forward honesty is so rare that it often works better than anything.

When you are focused on pick up lines you are likely to find it to be a huge challenge. Maintain a simple way of connecting. Do not memorize several lines or walk around with the same one. All you are trying to do is engage with someone in an interesting way so that they notice you and hopefully will want to know more.
