A lot of people in the UK have built up quite large debts over the last few years. For a person who is trying to deal with debt, life can become very stressful with a lot of pressure. Trying to keep up debt repayments as well as juggling different creditors, trying to avoid late payment charges and battling with high interest rates are all a part of the problem with having debts. There is however something which people can do to get rid of their debt and the stress which comes with it.

IVA is the short name for an individual voluntary agreement and this is a really good way for people to get their motivation back once again. An IVA makes people’s debts much more manageable thus relieving a lot of their stress. It also condenses multiple monthly payments into just one making life much simpler for the person. Most importantly though it motivates people through providing them with the prospect of being debt free.

An IVA does this by providing the person with reduced, manageable monthly repayments on their debts which are usually much lower than they are currently paying. This allows them to have a much better standard of living but also gives them a date when they will be completely debt free. Having this date gives people something to work towards.

Another great thing about an IVA is that it lets people keep assets where bankruptcy would not. Not only does it help people to get rid of their debts but they can also do so while still living in their own home rather than having it repossessed. Because most people need their car to get to work they are also able to keep this so that they can make their monthly IVA payment.

An IVA is a great way for a person to get their life back on track. There are certain criteria which a person must meet to be considered for an IVA. The person must have at least 15,000 of debt over three or more creditors and they must be able to make the minimum monthly repayments of usually 200.

An IVA could be the answer to your financial problems. Want to know where you can learn more about IVA? Search online.
