Starting Your Own Wine Tasting Club

By Dan Green

Looking for some fun? Whatever you do, Don't Click Here!

Red wine vinegar has been used for ages by many chefs around the world.A wine tasting club helps you to learn more about wine from different parts of the world in a friendly environment. It takes out all the intimidation of trying to keep up with so called wine experts.

When you are looking at numbers for your wine tasting club you need to find a balance so that you can have an intimate gathering but at the same time a group big enough to have fun. You want to keep the numbers limited to a maximum of 30 people. Though a too small group is no fun either. Members need to take turns hosting the meetings so a small number might mean that you find yourself hosting more than you would like to.

Is it still necessary to use red wine vinegar in your cooking when you will be serving the best red wine at your dinner table? Wine vinegars and wines have different functions. The host cannot be expected to prepare a menu, deliver a talk on the wine, and pick up the wines. Assign the tasks evenly so that every member gets a chance to pitch in and no one feels like they put in more work than anyone else. Make it clear when you are about to start your wine tasting club that these are the rules.

You can find plenty of red wine vinegar in your favorite grocery stores. However, before you buy any of those red wine vinegar bottles on the shelves, you should read their labels first. To do this you need to make sure that there is just the right amount of wine for everyone. Too many different types of wine and the tasting will carry on longer than is comfortable. Limit yourselves to about six different types of wine.

Remember that you can always create your own wine vinegar in your own kitchen. Find a recipe for wine vinegar either online or offline and then experiment with these recipes at home. You might want to change this a little depending on how big your group is or how long the group would like the tasting to go on for. Don’t forget to have fun!
