It would have been unusual to build a solid industry for wine travel, even if wine and wine hotels have been considered top luxury products or services. But now it is a thriving and distinct industry. Below are some of the top luxury products or services on wine travel that can be seen in the United States.

California: Meritage Spa and Resort

At Napa Valley, this is the ideal spot for top luxury products or services, particularly in wines and wineries. It is the ideal luxury hotel in the area, having a private vineyard. There is a room especially for wine tasting at the beautiful Estate Caves, for the pleasure of a maximum of two hundred guests. The luxury suites and Tuscan inspired guestrooms are just as elegant, and after a restful and rejuvenating session at Spa terra, the seasonal farm-to-table restaurant called Siena would be the best dining choice.

Michigan: Chateau Chantal

This Traverse City winery and vineyard is found on Old Mission Peninsula, an estate with a sixty five-acre area. It has a bed & breakfast in classic French style. From the windows, the Power Islands, Grand Traverse Bays, and the rolling vineyards can be seen.

Michigan wines available in this chateau include Chardonnay, Riesling, Cabernet Franc, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Grigio, among others. The rich red Malbec wine of Argentina is also found here.

Washington: La Toscana Winery

In the foothills of the Cascade Mountains east of Leavenworth is to be found this small winery which traditionally produces wines with European and artisan techniques. Accommodation and wine supply is quite limited, and booking may have to be made well in advance. Still, wine tasting is possible, and visitors will not be disappointed, with modern amenities available and Old World decor.

Oregon: The Inn at Red Hills

This boutique hotel at Willamette Valley offers unique rooms within two buildings flanking a charming courtyard. There is a fine wine bar and restaurant from which specialties such as rare, Oregon small-lot wines can be tasted. The place also hosts wine makers on special occasions.

New York: Belhurst Castle

Belhurst Castle is in upstate Geneva, Finger Lakes, and is worth a visit in itself due to its being listed on the National Register of Historic Places. There are three hotels: the Luxurious Vinifera Inn, the Historic White Springs Manor and the Chambers in the Castle. Historical decor grace the latter two, for the Castle is a 17th century authentic, while Historic White Springs is what is called a Georgian Revival Mansion. Vinifera Inn, on the other hand, has harmonious lake views.

The place can be a starting point to the Belhurst Estate Winery, known for the multiple awards it has been honored with over the years for its unique wines. These luxurious wines are as unique as Belhurst Castle.

Virginia: Wedmore Place

This hotel is a three-hundred-acre farmland with rooms inspired in the European tradition. The Williamsburg Winery is the state’s largest winery, having a production of fifty five thousand to sixty thousand cases of wine yearly, which makes it almost one-fifth of the state’s overall wine produce. The winery is owned and operated by the Duffeler family, and is one of the state’s very best producer of top luxury products or services.
