When choosing a good flight plane simulator to purchase, there are a few things that you should be aware of before making a decision to spend your hard earned money. As you know there are many flight sims that you can get from the internet and they each have their own special features. So lets talk about the three most important things that you should know when buying one of these fun games to play.

You don’t have to be a real pilot to enjoy these airplane simulation games. Though these flight simulation softwares differ a lot from each other, you can still find some way to effectively use them for your own enjoyment and even for the full learning process when it comes to properly maneuvering an airplane.

A real good flight sim will give users the option to choose from many different aircrafts such as military jets, a Boeing 747, helicopters, cessnas, passenger jets and light aircrafts. If the flight sim you are about to buy does not give you a huge variety of planes you can choose from, don’t buy it. Look for another one.

In my eyes a good flight sim should give you the choice of playing with a a joystick or by using the mouse and keyboard to control the aircraft. If you prefer playing with a joystick all of the time, then a flight sim that only gives you the option to control the aircraft using a joystick is of course perfect for you.

I know this might be a bit odd, but I do like to have this option. Many of the simulators are so confusing with all of the different keyboard functions that it will take you hours to remember all of them.

Another great thing about flight sims is that there are numerous accessories and add ons. As you can see flight sims are a real hobby and this is why many flight simulator enthusisats are programming their own flight sims.

Some hardcore flight sim enthusiasts have even become real life pilots and turned their hobby into a full time job or design their own games and make that their career. You can see how addicting fligh simulator games can be!

Aircraft simulator games are not that expensive and this is why most people can afford it. Once you own the game, there are no monthly fees or expensive equipment to buy. However, you should be careful when buying a flight simulator game, because there are some games out there that are a real waste of money. So you want to be careful when buying an airplane sim!
