Nintendo’s Wii has had its failures and its triumphs. It has completely revolutionized older games and made them ten times as fun, despite it’s remote control’s issues. This all aside, the Wii has evolved quite extensively.

The Wii is quite a new and worthwhile gaming system with which ought to be experienced. There are loads of games, from old school to the new. Mario Kart, Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3, and Wii Sports are just a few of the released titles.

Good : it becomes you up and moving. Almost all of the Nintendo Wii’s games are very interactive games. You can jump, you can trip, you can run and fall on your face or, if you get knackered, you can easily sit down to a not so latest game and just relax.

Most games use the standard Wii sensor controllers. There are, however, a few games that require special controllers. (They’re more like holders that just change the way you use the game controllers. You just stick them in there and play.) Most of these also come with their own games as well.

The main “down” about the Wii is it’s controllers. The controllers require chargers. After paying about 250 dollars for the system, you may be a bit unnerved about buying a forty dollar controller. However, there are alternatives, such as buying rechargable batteries. Space could be a problem as well. You wouldn’t want to play the Wii during a party where the house is packed to the brim with people, for example. Lastly is the issue of the remote’s wriststrap. There have been many instances in which the remote has gone flying.

Arguments aside, the Wii is certainly a worthwhile , and is fun for all ages. Old people, babies, teenagers, anyone can play the Wii. ( This is proved by my 70-year-old granddad who in all truth plays the Wii more than his younger grandkids for whom he bought the Wii for. His special favorite are Wii Bowling and golfing. )

So you must be thinking-how many games just are there for this game console? In truth it’s fairly new ( compared to many , with the exception of the Playstation three ). According to Wikipedia, there are over four hundred games. Another site claims there are more than 450 now on the market. The Wii was launched into orbitwith roughly 20 games in 2006.
