You would have to have been living under a rock for the last several decades t have not heard about the many seemingly miraculous abilities of aloe vera. Its lotion or cream uses are widely known to hundreds of millions of individuals the world over. Still, most people are blissfully unaware of the real healing capabilities that the aloe plant can bestow – primarily when used in a juice form. Aloe juice has become the latest craze in the world of the truly health conscious, and it seems that each day brings a new awakening to the ancient truths surrounding this miraculous plant. And while you should certainly still feel comfortable utilizing your aloe vera cream for any scrapes, burns, and cuts that you might get, you should also be aware that you cannot experience the full range of aloe’s powers until it has become a staple of your nutritional supplement plan.
Plants are tasty too
For many, just the thought of orally consuming aloe juice brings to mind the odor of aloe lotion. And while that lotion’s odor and taste might not be entirely offensive, it hardly beckons the user to drink a juice made of the stuff. Fortunately, aloe juice tastes and smells entirely different from the lotions and creams made from the same plant – despite the fact that both substances are based on the same aloe gel. In juice form, the aloe plant is quite tasty, and manages to tap even more of the plant’s miracle healing effects. You need only drink between four and eight ounces of the aloe juice each and every day to begin to see improvements in your overall immunity to various ailments, as well as a superior sense of well-being.
The origins of aloe’s benefits
Aloe’s strength in the area of health care ad medicinal uses stems from its many amino acids. These amino acids – the building blocks of life and health – are the principal reason that this plant that could once only be obtained from Africa and other exotic locales can now be seen growing in the United States and south of the border. Crushing aloe vera leaves produces the gel that is used in both lotion and juice. The actual health benefits that aloe brings are derived from this gel.
Aloe’s real effects
The list of aloe juice benefits is seemingly endless, and any attempt to list them all would almost certainly fail. In addition to benefits discovered through careful scientific study, there are a host of other benefits that we know about only through volumes of anecdotal evidence. Among the many claims about aloe juice are that it helps to detoxify your bodily systems and even aids in cleaning the blood supply. The aloe’s topical benefits are not lost in the aloe juice either, as the juice is an effective agent for healing cuts, burns, and even eczema.
Of course, aloe’s many properties include effects that are more controversial as well. Among these are reports of positive experiences in ulcer treatment, weight loss efforts, and even bowel movements. There are also yet undocumented reports that aloe juice is an effective source of treatment for skin cancer. These effects are, to date, still considered anecdotal, but no evidence has yet arisen to disprove them. The only sure way you will ever know exactly how you can be helped y aloe juice is for you to actually start using it within you own diet regimen.
