An Effective Way To Promote Your Kid’s Health

By Peter Harris

A healthy diet brings a healthy life. As parents want a good foundation for their children it is always best to start them on these healthy foods. It will make them strong and protect them from common sicknesses.

The natural, most popular and healthiest way is from the mother’s breast milk. Easy to make solid food can then replace the mother’s milk. Foods like baby formulas and other jars of baby foods must be avoided.

Pasty foods are normally the best choice when moving the child on towards solid foods. Food must be mashed to create a pasty formula that can be fed to the child. Fruits are best for these purposes. Mashed pear, papaya and buttermilk squash are easy of the stomach are so are best when first used for this purpose.

Cereals, vegetables and broths are the next step for the child after it has gone on mashed fruits for some time. Other foods can be used as well like boiling carrots and potatoes and mashing them are also options that can be used.

Without adding sugar and salt, you can make bananas into porridges that are very thin and uncomplicated and feed it to your child. It is important you adhere to this as your child is still learning to eat.

By adding chicken to the mash, you make sure the child gets added nutrients to the broth. This must however be done as the child grows older. You can also disallow the child from eating any of the meat in the mash.

Gassy foods can be prevented from the child at this point. Foods like broccoli, cauliflower, onions and garlic are known to give gas and so should not be fed to the child at this point in its life.

Feeding your child at home is best as your know exactly what you give them. You can tell what goes into their food.
