As one would know, human touch is the very basic ingredient that helps a person to recover. All patients undergoing this technique have all affirmative feedback as pressure was exerted to heal the pain. Aside from it, it is not costly.

The people who practice in the area are called as manual therapists. Before gaining the recognition and to perform these service. They have to complete the course which takes up to four years. There are a lot of techniques that are utilized in this kind of therapy. One is called as the strain counterstrain. It is designed to correct the abnormal reflexes of the neuromuscular system. It can lead to posture and structure problems that result in beyond painful tender points.

There are cases in which a person will be agonized by the boomerang like type of spasm that keeps returning, paining him again and again. Might be because he only treated it with the use of massage, rest, and ice. This spasm is cause by the tight joints that responded to spasm. Joint mobilization is known to be efficient for this pain.

When joint mobilization does not really help at all, or the pressure that is exerted is not enough, then the therapist will recommend the muscle energy technique which is also designed for the mobilization of the same restricted point. Contrary to the previous kind of mobilization, this one is considered to be active that should be tolerated by the patient himself.

There is also a more intense procedure for the restoration of the gliding actions of the joints that will be able to close and open in a very efficient way possible. This is to restore the action of the joint without moving any beyond that anatomical limit. No structural damage will also take place here. This is known as a high velocity and low amplitude thrusting.

Exercise will also be prescribed by the professional therapist in case the back pain keeps coming back. This program will include strengthening and stretching exercises that are crucial for the back. They will be recommended appropriately based on the need of the patient.
