By Olen Knaggs

It is seen that most of the women visit the doctor as they suffer from the vaginal yeast infection. Sometimes, they have to go to the doctor repeatedly as the infection occurs several times. If you are one among the women who are suffering from this infection, you must know that it is a serious issue that cannot be neglected.

It has been found in a research that the number of women suffering from this infection is increasing in number. The reasons which causes this infection in this rate is change in the environmental condition, change in the lifestyle and many more. The mutation going on in the yeast organism is one of the reasons for causing this infection. It was also discovered that every year in United States more than 10, 000 people die due to this infection.

The tiny sized fungus is the main thing that causes the vaginal infection. The name of this fungus is Candida albicans. Many times it is seen that the yeast infection is caused by the other reasons. The other reasons that cause them are the presence of dubliniensi and C. Stellatoiedea in the yeast.

Tests can be done to determine what type of yeast is causing an infection, but infections by yeasts other than Candida Albicans are rare. Candida is the most common type of fungal infection in humans, and it can lead to serious health problems for some people. A yeast infection can even be deadly in people with compromised immune systems.

This is the reason that it is suggested that woman should have medical treatment after they have undergone chemotherapy treatment for cancer. Mainly, there are four reasons that cause the yeast infections. In this the balance between the yeast and bacteria is disturbed. If the bacteria get killed, it will increase the number of yeast in the body.

This can happen when antibiotics are used during an illness. A diet high in refined sugars and other carbohydrates can also upset the balance by favoring the growth of yeast and inhibiting the growth of bacteria. This imbalance can lead to a yeast infection in the mouth or vagina.
