Hair removal for women is a usual procedure. Good hygiene for them now commonly includes getting rid of unsightly body and facial hair. Fine hair on the upper lip should be get rid of, as well as underarm hair. Preparing for swimsuit season isn’t simply about getting rid of excess body fats any longer. Electrolysis permanently removes hair by applying electricity to a solid hair-thin metal probe that is slid into each hair follicle. This will cause contained damage to the follicles, which is responsible for generating hair.

For permanent hair reduction, a favorite method is laser hair removal. As the name indicates, it applies laser to cause contained damage in the area that causes hair growth. There is also the Intense Pulsed Light or IPL. Sometimes called as Flashlamps, this process uses light of different wavelengths to remove hair and cure various skin conditions such as hyperpigmentation.

All techniques vary on cost, effectiveness, convenience in using, and the duration of time the hair grows back. Each one has its own pros and cons so remember to always utilize extra care.
