Puberty has come and gone, but why do you still have acne? If you’re over the age of 25 and you still have pimples, zits, and blackheads then don’t blame puberty anymore. Removing your acne isn’t as simple as it sounds. You might want to keep it from coming out first, which will require full commitment on your part.

The first step you can take is to adapt a healthy lifestyle. Toxins will exacerbate your acne, so extinguish it. A healthy diet is also crucial. Avoid consuming fatty foods and steer clear of too much alcoholic and caffeinated toasts. Drinking water likewise gets rid of oil, waste, and toxins from your body. It moisturizes your skin, keeping your pores from clogging. Don’t forget to exercise on a regular basis, avoid stress, practice proper hygiene, and quit smoking.

You can attempt the said steps to keep acne from coming out and keep your face clean and clear. The problem is if you already have them.

To help dry out acnes fast, you can use nonprescription topical creams and gels. Products that contain salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide are best applied in mild to moderate cases. You can also try natural remedies. Many swear by the efficiency of honey, ginger, oatmeal, or even ice against acnes. But keep in mind that all of these only get rid of the problem temporarily.

But if you have acute acne problem, topical products are not the answer.

Acne creams and gels work in mild to moderate types, but they can’t extinguish the source of the problem. Acnes should be healed internally. There are oral antibiotic drugs that are available in the market that may help clear out pimples, blackheads, whiteheads, and more. But oral drugs may contain erythromycin or any of the tetracycline antibiotic drugs. Those ingredients may cause side effects, such as discoloration of the teeth. Best confer with a dermatologist before drinking any oral medicines.

For women, acnes may be a regular monthly thing. Their menstrual flow may affect their hormonal level, causing their glands’ oil secretion. For others, drinking oral contraceptives help in balancing their hormonal levels, thus helping drive out acnes.

Driving Out acnes does not have a precise solution for everybody. There those who think some practices are a waste of time and money, while others find some cures efficient. Taking a healthy lifestyle is your safest bet. It may not be a guarantee that you won’t have a single zit on your face ever again, but it will surely diminish your acne problem.
