Remember, the time when you shrieked out after discovering your initial white hair. Surely, this revelation should have perturbed most of us. Premature greying is a general problem that could be seen these days in teens and people in their early 20s. Greying occurs when pigment – melanocytes vanishes from the hair strand. Causes of Premature Hair Hreying

Most of the cases it is hard to figure out the correct cause for hair greying. It may be due to leucoderma, genetic disorder or dietary habits of the person. Also, another reason might be eating of vegetables and fruits with insecticides and pesticides. Stress is another most important factor for hair greying. Most of the people wash hair almost daily. Harsh chemicals and residue after wash make hair vulnerable to greying. You can prevent it by using mild or natural shampoos and also it would help if there are gaps between hair washes. Also, with that now people tend to test with frequent hair treatments like colouring, perms, and straightening etc, which not only lead to hair greying but damages hair. Use of blow dryers and added such tools for hair care should be minimised. Oiling at least double a week and good scalp massage helps in controlling hair fall and greying. It will slightly improve circulation and promote strong hair growth. Hair greying may be caused due to deficiency. It is advisable to consume diet rich in vitamin, iron, copper and B complex.
